Q: We are recording from a JVC GY-HD251 camera but the timecode is not displayed. Is there a problem with our recorder?
JVC uses a variation in the HDV standard and does not output a VAUX packet which normally carries the timecode data. Please use the tally light indicator on your recorder as a confirmation of the recording status.
Q: How do I change the format on my DN-10/20/30/40/50 to HDV format?

3. Enter SET SIGNAL TYPE
4. Look for HDV (ALL F RATES), then press enter
