If you are using an AJA Kona card, yes you can. Unfortunately due to the way the Decklink HD Xtreme cards work, it is not possible to output AND preview at the same time.
Q: Can I do right-to-left text with the CG-300/350?
Yes, if your computer supports right-to-left languages (Arabic, Hebrew, etc.), so will the CG-300/350.
Q: Can I create the video clip using the trial software as this is done in production on a different computer, and then bring it to the machine, which actually has the licensed version to play it back live so that it does not have the water mark?
No, the trial version embeds the water mark into the file.
Q: Is there a way to import a .tga sequence in title composer to convert it to video clip?
Yes, but you must use the “On Air” program, which is part of the CG software.
Q: Will all Decklink cards work with the CG-300/350?
Yes; however, each Decklink card model provides more or less functionality. Please keep this in mind when selecting a different card. The Decklink cards we specify will yield the most functionality from the software.
Q: I do live corporate conventions and need to be able to import a huge list of names/titles that are provided to me in either a Word or RTF file. Will CG-300/350 allow me to load all the names from the list with each name/title being assigned a page or file number then instantly be able to recall the page by typing in their badge number?
If you can supply the information in a spread sheet format, you can use the spread sheet importer. That way you only need to create one page then each time you move from row to row, the text will change. Otherwise you would need to cut & paste the information into each page.
Q: Does the CG-300/350 include a clock?
Yes, CG-300 and CG-350 character generators include a built in clock.
Q: Is there a way to advance a page with a keyboard shortcut?
Yes, there is. On the 10 key pad ”Enter” advances pages, “+” turns keyer on, “-” turns keyer off.
Does PCR-350HD Kona card support both Key and Fill outputs for an external key? If so how are they controlled? Where would the physical connections made (what connectors)?

The Kona Card should support the key and fill outputs depending on the card you purchase. We sell the PCR-350HD with a Decklink Extreme card, not a Kona Card. Although the Kona Card is compatible. The physical connections would be on the actual card itself. The Decklink card has BNC connectors for SDI, you would have to check the Kona Card specs to see what connectors they have.
