RMA procedure

RMAs are required before sending in your product for service. If a product is returned without an RMA it will be refused and returned.

  • If your product is in warranty, please submit a support request via our Technical Support Request Form here.
  • If your product is out of warranty, and needs a part replacement such as a physical connector, etc. Please submit your RMA request by completing the following non-warranty repair form and fax it to us at (562) 698-6930. A support representative will issue an RMA within 1 business day, so that you can send your product in for repair.

What happened to nNovia?

Datavideo Corporation, a leading manufacturer of professional video production and broadcast equipment, has acquired San Jose based nNovia, Inc. nNovia designs and manufactures hard disk based video recorders for the broadcast and professional video market.

The current nNovia product family will be immediately re-branded and folded into Datavideo’s product line. nNovia’s San Jose office will be retained and a new company called Datavideo Silicon Valley Corporation will be formed to merge the legacy nNovia engineering team into Datavideo as a research and development team.

If I already own an nNovia product, how do I get support?

Datavideo will assume all product /customer support and warranty obligations of nNovia and will support nNovia customers from its Whittier, California location.

My product is out of warranty and it needs service, how can I get it repaired?

If your repair is related to a broken component, we will need you to complete the following non-warranty repair form and fax it to us at (562) 698-6930. A support representative will issue an RMA within 1 business day, so that you can send your product in for repair. There is a non-warranty diagnostic fee of $40 which includes firmware updates.

Can I still purchase nNovia recorders?

They will be rebranded by Datavideo under new part numbers.

QC Deck (with BNC I/O) = DN-20
QC A2D2 = DN-30
QCR Deck = DN-40
ProFlex Deck = DN-50

Can I still purchase nNovia parts and accessories?
Yes, you can purchase Mediapac adapter cables, breakout cables, mounts and AC adapters from Datavideo and our resellers. However, Mediapacs will only be available in 160GB capacities.

How can I purchase recorders, parts and accessories?
Any Datavideo product can be purchased from one of our resellers. If you have any specific pre-sale product questions you may contact us via email or by phone (562) 696-2324. For recorder availability please contact us.

Which accessories will be discontinued?
All batteries and carrying bags will no longer be available. You may continue to purchase batteries from third party suppliers. Please refer to your product manual for power requirements.

I was already an nNovia reseller, will I need to apply to become a Datavideo reseller?
Yes, please refer to the following page for our reseller application, which will detail our requirements.
