VP-314 In-line DV Repeater |
The VP-314 DV signal repeater receives its power from another device in the DV stream (the source DV unit) with a 6-pin output. These DV signal repeaters do not support 4-pin connectors.
The VP-314 repeater is a rugged and small digital repeater that will let you join one 6-pin Firewire cable to another, increasing the distance between DV devices. It comes with wire ties and has slots to secure the Firewire cables. You can attach the repeater and cables to the ceiling, lay them in a cable trough or keep them on a cable roll for staging applications. It includes an "active" led so you can tell when everything is working.
